I decided to use the left over Easter eggs (yes, there is such thing as too much!) to melt it down (took forever) to make chocolate covered strawberries.

Why wait and pay for someone to make it when it is much more fun to do it myself?

I melted the chocolate by using a pot with some hot water, a plastic bowl on top of it with the bits of chocolate broken down and kept stirring for about 20 minutes.

I had washed the strawberries before I began melting and made sure they where dry.

I added crushed plain biscuit for the finishing touches.

Put these in the fridge until the evening and they made a delicious movie snack!
