Review:
Fascinating read.
The amount of elements in this novel that captivates your attention.
From the history of Cuba and the troubles they went through, to a granddaughter discovering her grandmothers past and what she has been through.
I will not give much away as this defeats the purpose. Just know that this is very well written, amazing history to Cuba that I would not have known much about before this. However at times the history overshadowed the love story (be aware incase you are looking for more romance type of vibes).
The history is poignant and heartfelt.
